I like the premise a lot. I do wish the mystery boy would have interacted a little more with Indie in a way that created a little more tension to start the story, but maybe that’s coming in part 2. I have to say the part about the Cowboys crushing the Eagles hurt me a little inside. I’m from the Philly area, so you got that part reversed. 😉
Oh no, hahah! In all honesty I know very little about football, so I had to do some research for Hudson. Maybe if I ever turn this into a book I'll switch around the teams just for you... or leave it since it makes Hudson even more dislikeable for you ;)
And you'll have to tell me what you think about the tension with him when part two comes out... 👀
Well you did do a good job making me not like Hudson anyway, even without mentioning the Eagles’ loss, so you can switch it, haha. I guess you need to do some market research to find out if there are likely to be more Eagles fans or more Cowboys fans that will be interested in reading your book. The Eagles did just win the Superbowl…so, just saying. 😉
And yay!! I’m excited to see how you build the tension with him and Indie!
This was a lot of fun to read! I always wanted to go to an American high school and this has renewed those longings! I do NOT want to relive my teenage years, but somehow love to do it vicariously in sweet fiction! I'm looking forward to part two!!
I’m so glad you enjoyed! In all honesty, writing this may have been because I wanted to revisit what high school would’ve been like if I had done theatre instead of dance!
Fun!! In the UK a school might decide to put on a play, but there would be one super keen girl, two boys who sign up because they think it'll get them out of maths, and the rest of the school would make fun of them for showing any interest in anything other than football and snogging.
Such a beautiful introduction. You’ve captured Indigo’s spirit so vividly that I feel like I already know them. Excited to read more of your journey together.
Not me relating to the mom with her expired condiments XD This story sounds cute! This sounds like it's going to be a sweet lil romance. <3 I don't read much contemporary romance/theater romance but, I did love High School Musical growing up!
I don’t read this genre much either, much less write it 🙈 But the inspiration came out of nowhere and the beginning just wrote itself. I honestly love it!
So excited for this!! I love a sweet romance and I'm a huge theatre nerd (and a huge introvert so I can't act or save my life....but I still love musicals ❤️)
I'm so here for you this 😍 I grew up doing theatre and also wanted to pursue acting before I discovered writing. I see myself in Indie. Can't wait for part two!!! 😁
I love it!! I grew up dancing, so we used the local high school’s stage for our recitals—but never participated in a play. Part of me feels like I missed a calling and should’ve been in theatre instead. That’s one of the reasons I wrote this; I wanted to have a “second chance” to go back and be a theatre kid 🥰

Hahaha I will most definitely take your football opinion into consideration. I’m excited to hear your opinion as the story continues!
I'm late starting, ha ha -I really enjoyed part one, Sol - I'm looking forward to catching up with the rest when I get time x
Aw yay! Thank you for being here! I can’t wait to hear what you think!
Loved this!!!! I can't wait to see where it goes......... I'm already cooking up theories 💡 great job!

Really!! The high schools here are capable of putting on really good shows. Lots of people go to watch them like they would a professional play! T
Love that!

Thank you for reading!! I hope you continue to enjoy the story 🥰
I have already begun building ships for this mystery boy and Indie 😂 such a cozy beginning, Sol! This type of story is right up my alley.
Eeeeeeep haha! I’m excited for you to keep reading!
As a HS theatre alum, I approve this message. That's where I met my now husband. Looking forward to more!!!
